The idea behind the indicator

This indicator is intended for the trading sessions designation on the chart. It draws multicolored rectangles for each trading session. The user can fill in each rectangle with any color he prefers.

Trading sessions:

• London session;
• New York session;
• Tokyo session;
• Sydney session.

What does it include?

There are period separators upon all timeframes.They show dates(a year, time, day of the week/month, and quarters) depending on a chart period and settings.

There are various options for higher-level timeframes. The indicator calculates the distance (in pips) from the minimum to the maximum price in the timespan depending on the chart period.

Add the indicator to all timeframes to operate all of them. With the switching of timeframes, it is necessary to press the hotkey for redrawing to another timeframe (NUM0 by default).

Indicator parameters meanings

Common:

• Key For Redraw — button for redrawing to another timeframe. For this parameter to work, it is necessary to add the indicator to every period simultaneously. After switching the period, the rectangle will be redrawn on the current period with the press of the button. The redrawing occurs on the first tick after the click.

Day Trading:

• Summer Time — adjusts for daylight saving time automatically;
• Show Range Box — shows calculated distance (in pips) from the minimum to the maximum price in the timespan for each session (appears in the top left corner of the chart);
• Start From Hour — period separators drawing start time;
• H4 Chart — allows choosing from which day to draw the week on the H4 chart;
• Daily Chart — period separators variant selection on the D1 chart rendering time frame.

Draw Trading Sessions:

• London Session OnOff — enable/disable the display of the London trading session;
• London Session Open Hour — London session opening time;
• London Session Colour — the color of the London session square;
• New York Session OnOff — enable/disable the display of the New York trading session;
• New York Session Open Hour — New York session opening time;
• New York Session Colour — the color of the New York session square;
• Tokyo Session OnOff — enable/disable the display of the Tokyo trading session;
• Tokyo Session Open Hour — Tokyo session opening time;
• Tokyo Session Colour — the color of the Tokyo session square;
• Sydney Session OnOff — enable/disable the display of the Sydney trading session;
• Sydney Session Open Hour — Sydney session opening time;
• Sydney Session Color — the color of the Sydney session square.

For timeframes lower than H4:

• Vertical Line Color — the color of vertical lines;
• Vertical Line Thickness — thickness of vertical lines;
• Text Size — the size of the text;
• Text Color — the color of the text;
• Vertical Line Style — style of vertical period separators lines;
• Show Range of Period — shows how much the price has changed over the period.

How the indicator works on various charts

H1 and lower period charts:

On the H1 chart, the indicator depicts the time range of London, Tokyo, Sydney, and New York sessions, as well as day lines, the day of the week with the time on which the line is placed (set in the parameters). Also, it identifies the distance from the minimum to the maximum price for this period and each session.

The indicator on the M15 chart

H4 period:

In the H4 period, the indicator depicts the lines for the start of the week (the day is shown in the parameters), the number of this day, the name of the month, and the distance from the minimum to the maximum price of the current period.

The D1 period:

In the D1 period, the indicator depicts the lines of the beginning of the month, quarters, years. Also, it represents the name of the month and the year, distance from the minimum to the maximum price this month/quarter/year.
